Inverter Powerful Operation boosts airflow to maximum volume for a 20 minute period. This function is convenient for quickly adjusting the indoor temperature to the set temperature. After 20 minutes, the unit automatically returns to its previous settings.
Coanda airflow with 10 meters of airflow length
The Coanda panel’s new shape creates airflow along the ceiling. This allows the air to spread out across the whole room without creatin uncomfortable drafts. The entire area is wrapped in a large elliptical flow which circulates efficiently, helping to cool quickly and evenly.
Anti-Corrosion Treatment of Outdoor Heat Exchanger Fins
The outdoor unit’s heat exchanger fins are processed using a special anti-corrosion treatment. The surface is covered with a thin acrylic resin layer to provide enhanced resistance to acid rain and salt corrosion.
New generation refrigerant R-32
As the sole worldwide manufacturer of both air conditioning equipment and refrigerants, Daikin is continuously researching refrigerants as well as new technologies which can reduce energy consumption. Use of refrigerants with a lower impact on global warming is urgently required as climate change has become one of the most critical global issues. Daikin has now adopted R-32. This next-generation refrigerant does not deplete the ozone layer and has a lower impact on global warming.
Control of Both Humidity and Temperature
Humans release body heat by evaporating moisture on our skin, meaning we feel cooler with lower humidity. With conventional inverter systems, once the room temperature reaches the set temperature, operation decreases to low capacity (partial load). However, this also reduces dehumidifying, making the air feel uncomfortable. The FTKM series is equipped with a humidity sensor and Daikin's hybrid cooling technology. Together these features allow FTKM units to automatically control humidity so you feel cool even during low capacity operation.
Voltage protection
Unstable power supply is a common problem in many parts of the world. It is well known for causing overvoltage, which can seriously damage electronic devices. However, it also causes undervoltage, which can shut down your air conditioner just when you need it most. Daikin’s printed circuit boards are specially strengthened to withstand voltage fluctuations. This allows them to operate across a wide range of voltages in areas with unstable power. FTKM series units operate at 130 to 264V and can withstand zero to 440V.
When the voltage is higher or lower than the operable range, the air conditioning system switches itself off. When the voltage is adjusted back to its original value, the system automatically starts operating again.

Measurement conditions
1. Cooling capacity is based on: indoor temp. 27°CDB, 19°CWB; outdoor temp. 35°CDB; piping length 7.5 m.
2. Sound pressure levels are based on the temperature conditions in 1 above. These are anechoic conversion values. These values are normally somewhat higher during actual operation as a result of ambient conditions.
3. CSPF is based on TCVN 7830: 2015 conditions.
